Summer has arrived! We are spending many hours in our lovely air-conditioned studio catching up on time lost to COVID-19 restrictions. Our creativity is flowing—the shelves are packed and the kilns are full. Each time we unload the kilns, it’s like Christmas morning!
We have several exciting upcoming events! First, on July 11 from noon to 4 p.m., the Creative Arts and Technology Center is having an open house. Everyone is welcome to come and see the pottery studio, wood shop, painting studio, Sassy Stampers, Material Girls, stained glass, library, etc. Each group will have artists working, hosts to show you around, there will be door prizes, and much more. It’s a great opportunity to come and check it out. You may find that you want to join one, or more, of these fun groups.
Next, the Robson Ranch Holiday Market is in October. This event is not limited to only Ranch members. Vendors come from all over the metroplex to participate. The Happy Potters always has a booth and we have been working hard on items already. It is an exciting time and a fabulous way to start off the holiday season. Watch for more details to come!
