Sandra Mankowich
The Mah Jongg Mavens recently met for lunch and an afternoon of Mah Jongg at the home of Sandra Mankowich. The original members of this crew have been playing together for over four years, but it was at this lunch that we finally concluded it was time to formally name our group. We decided on Mavens and it was official. It was only after the name was chosen that we discovered the definition of maven is expert. Despite the fact that we are not experts at the game of Mah Jongg, we are definitely experts at having fun, so we’re keeping the name anyway!
