The calendar may say February and there may still be a nip in the air, but the Robson Ranch Community Choir is making preparations now for the Spring Concert. Weekly practices begin on Monday, February 23. If you’ve been thinking about joining our choir and like to sing, please contact our director, Joe Arnett.

Mark your calendars for the Spring Concert, which will be held on Saturday, May 16, at 7:00 p.m., and Sunday, May 17, at 4:00 p.m. As many of you know this will be Joe and Tawana Arnett’s last concert as directors. After 11 years of growing the choir, improving our performance and consistently finding creative and challenging music for three concerts every year, they are retiring. According to Tawana, the theme for the Spring Concert is “A little bit of this and a little bit of that.” It will include songs from some current Broadway musicals, such as Jersey Boys, as well as some familiar tunes from days gone by. Plan to attend and express your gratitude for all that Joe and Tawana have contributed to our Robson community.

For those who have asked, the Music Club is conducting a search for a new choir director and accompanist. While the Arnetts will enjoy a much deserved retirement, the choir will continue with our three performances each year.
