On Aug. 17 the newly chartered Denton Robson Ranch Lions completed their first community service project. We were notified by Our Daily Bread (ODB) in Denton that they had a number of wooden shelves from the old food bank in storage. We visited the current storage location and found 38 shelving units ready for movement to ODB.
Our RR Lions, using the ODB box truck, moved all 38 shelving units to ODB. They will be cleaned and painted as required. Finally, the shelves will be used by ODB to store all incoming clothing for eventual distribution. Our Daily Bread feeds, shelters, and cares for the homeless and at-risk in the Denton community.
