Club members celebrating 20 years of table tennis at Robson Ranch Texas

The Robson Ranch Table Tennis Club held its first meeting on Dec. 29, 2003, in the home of Dwight Olson, with 19 residents in attendance. Organized play started in January of 2004 with 27 Robson Ranch residents signed up to play a challenge ladder at the newly built Sports Center, with only one table. Over the past 20 years, the Robson Ranch Table Tennis Club has grown to almost 100 members, with 11 tables and averaging over 25 players at our regular Monday, Wednesday, and Friday play sessions. Guests of honor at the celebration were original members Dwight Olson and Jack Zastrow (still playing). One of the original clubs at Robson Ranch, the Table Tennis Club continues to grow as new residents join our unique community of active adults who have rekindled their youthful love of table tennis.
Current table tennis play session schedule times are in the gym on Monday and Wednesday from noon to 2:30 p.m., on Friday from noon to 2 p.m., and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to noon.
