The claims over the origins of the hotdog are multiple and varied, but one thing is for certain—nothing is more American than eating a grilled hotdog on the Fourth of July. And who better to serve up one of summer’s favorite foods than the Kiwanis Club Robson Ranch. KCRR held its annual Hotdog Picnic on the afternoon of July 4 at the Model Home Village following the Independence Day parade. All hands were on deck selling tickets, grilling up delicious dogs, serving cold soft drinks and mingling with the more than 350 people who came out to enjoy the festivities and celebrate our country’s 239th birthday.
A hearty thank you is extended to the Robson Ranch Sales Office for providing one of the model homes for the site of the picnic. In addition to Robson Ranch residents, 30 prospective new home buyers joined in and experienced first-hand the fun and excitement of living in such a welcoming and giving community.
The picnic is just one of many KCRR activities conducted throughout the year to raise funds for its programs supporting and improving the lives of children. Want more information?
