At the Spring Widows Sharing Hope Meet ‘n’ Greet, Derby Hats Were Donned and Legacies Honored!

Picture-perfect hats and heartfelt legacies took center stage at the spring Widows Sharing Hope Meet ‘n’ Greet where Derby Day flair mingled with Mother’s Day reflections. From cherished memories to lasting impacts, each guest shared their mother’s essence, weaving a tapestry of love and inspiration. Renowned author Kathy Howard added depth to the theme, unveiling treasures from her book Heirloom: Living and Leaving a Legacy of Faith, stirring hearts with tales of enduring faith.

Amidst the chatter and laughter, the Widows Sharing Hope hostess team crafted a delectable spread, tantalizing taste buds with Kentucky Derby cookie bars, delicate finger sandwiches, and refreshing mint-laced tea. As a final touch, each guest received a radiant red rose, symbolizing the beauty of shared connections and the legacy of love.

The purpose of Widows Sharing Hope is to bring encouragement, support, and connection to the widows of Robson Ranch. In addition to the quarterly Widows Meet ‘n’ Greets, the group also has a ministry with new widows, provides an opportunity for small group community with the widows’ Pray, Praise, and Play (PPP), and offers Beauty for Ashes, a nine-week women’s grief support class. For more information about any of these ministries or to be added to the Widows Sharing Hope Meet ‘n’ Greet invitation list, contact Bobbi Stringer at 817-437-2248.

Widows Sharing Hope is a ministry of Women Sharing Hope, a Robson Ranch organization which exists to develop friendships, grow in faith, and share God’s love. We typically meet monthly and sponsor a variety of other ministries in addition to ministering to widows.
