On Oct. 6 the Rockin’ Reds gathered for a fun-filled outing to see Grease, the Musical, at the historic Campus Theater in Denton. The event was organized by Joyce Brein, Carol Foley, Kitty Waldrop, and Robbie Waits who brought everyone together for an afternoon of entertainment and nostalgia. The ladies were excited to relive the classic story of Sandy, Danny, and the rest of the gang from Rydell High. The buzz of anticipation was palpable as they chatted and laughed as they found their seats. We were all ready to enjoy the upbeat music, lively dance numbers, and iconic 1950s-style costumes that Grease is known for. As the lights dimmed and the familiar opening notes of the musical filled the air, the group settled in for a joyous afternoon of great voices, energetic performances, and shared memories. All in all, I would say that the day was a resounding success, leaving everyone in high spirits.
