Seeds of Grace

Linda Buishas

If you had one message to give to the world, what would that be? Recently, I wrote that I believe that every person who wishes to live the life that God planned for them has a personal “heart-message,” which He gives to them to share. If you listen carefully each time you hear an individual teach or preach, you might notice that every time you hear them, there’s a common theme. If you listen to several, hopefully, you’ll hear similarities or overlaps, because there is consistency in God’s Word. Personal relationship with the Father and the Holy Spirit and salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone should always be the foundation. In every Holy Spirit-inspired message we can be assured that if the message comes from the Word of God, the Holy Spirit will confirm that the words are true.

God has spoken to me a sweet instruction, which I try to convey in every opportunity I have to reach others: “Just tell them I love them.” That message can certainly be confirmed by countless scriptures and even more in the underlying messages throughout the Bible. I’ve written about giving God’s love. Sometimes speaking, “He loves you,” sows seeds where my actions of loving them can’t reach. But I have confidence that God’s Word does not return void, and telling them He loves them and telling you He loves you is, in some small way, giving others His love.

I’m convinced that all the heartache, conflict, and chaos we see is caused by Satan’s joy in telling others they are not loved. Listening to Satan prevents them from knowing their innate value to God. All the suffering that exists of minds, bodies, and hearts tells us there’s a great need for healing, burdens that need lifting, and hardened hearts that need softening by the Holy Spirit’s gentle care. When someone hears that Almighty God can love them, they can begin to understand it’s His love that gives them great value, and their value lies in who He says they are. What anyone says about them or does to them can’t compete. Knowing how He loves and values them can change anyone forever and give them peace.

Jesus said that He came to show us the Father. He showed us that God is love and “Neither height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:39).

Do you have a beautiful “heart-message” inside of you? If you haven’t already heard it from God, I hope you’ll ask Him for yours. Whether broad or specific, seemingly large or small, please join me in asking the Holy Spirit for wisdom, boldness, the right time, and the right words to speak the message which God gives us to share.

What better way to wish you a “Happy Valentine’s Day” than to say, “God loves you”?
