President Pat Hamblin met with the librarian at Borman Elementary in Denton, Texas to make a $100 memorial donation to the library in honor of deceased member Mary Lou Wood. A special request of books on Penguins was made by the membership. The membership also made a $30 cash gift to each teacher at Borman and Gonzales Elementary schools (103) as a special thank you and happy start to a new school year. The After Schoolers Club is able to support the teachers through the money they make from the community garage sales hosted twice each year. Thanks to Robson Ranch residents, family and friends who donate their unwanted items and residents who rent spots to sell their own goods making this project a big success.
