Ted, Carol, and Shannon in their featured yard
Ellen Sullivan
When Ted and Carol Dunson and their daughter, Shannon, built their home in 2004, theirs was among the first 100 homes built in Robson Ranch. Ted planned his yard meticulously and still does all the work himself. However, he freely admits his wife is an excellent supervisor!
The front yard is thoughtfully laid out with flower beds, decorative urns, and seasonal color. Each feature is lovely on its own, but they combine to make a colorful border to a lovely yard.
Often, the grass itself is the least favorite part of a garden plan. But Ted says taking care of the yard is his pride and joy. He loves to mow, edge, fertilize and maintain the grass! His yard is “419 Bermuda” and is worth all the TLC Ted gives to it. It is easy to see why the lawn is his favorite feature.
