The Robson Ranch Photography Club presented a workshop on Wednesday, May 6 in the Creative Arts Technology Center. The workshop was open to all Robson Ranch residents.
Club member Jerry Schlesinger discussed the use of layers and masks when using photography post-processing software editing tools. Jerry explained how to add, delete and move image elements as well as selectively modify the brightness and saturation of specific parts of an image. He showed examples of what can be done and provided live demonstrations of the techniques involved using his own photographs. The goal of using these tools when editing photographs is to enhance, correct, and creatively transform images so they better communicate a desired look, mood, or message. The information presented was very much appreciated by those in attendance.
