My name is David Ku. My legal name is Marlington David Ku and that is how I am listed in the Robson Ranch directory. My wife, Lin, and I have lived at the Ranch for almost two years. We moved here from Northern Virginia, but prior to moving to Virginia, Lin and I spent most of our adult lives in the Dallas area where I practiced dentistry and Lin worked as an attorney. We have been married for 21 years and raised five boys together. We are the proud grandparents of Charlotte and Henry who live in Anna. I have an extensive background in small business and organized dentistry. For over 30 years, I ran my own dental practice and participated in various dental organizations at the local, state, and national level.
I am very involved here at the Ranch. I serve as Vice-President of the Drama Club, Member-at-large of the Road Runners travel club, and sub-chair of the Wellness Committee’s weekly blood pressure checks. I also serve as the dining out coordinator for our neighborhood group and play softball and pickleball. I am an avid exerciser and a member of the woodworkers’ club. I also serve as an usher at The Well Church in Argyle.
I want to create a transparent term by keeping you informed of our decisions and advocating for you. I want to promote additional facilities for residents knowing that we residents will take over the Board when Robson’s development is finalized. I believe that transparency builds trust. I want to create a community that we are proud to live in. I hope someday to hear your thoughts. My term begins in 2027 and I hope to earn your trust in me.
