Thirty-four players had a beautiful day to play in our Member/Member on Tuesday, October 27. We all met outside the Pro Shop to get our rules from David Thatcher. It was a three, three and three format. We had best ball, scramble and alternate shot. David calls the alternate shot the friendly segment. Depends upon how you look at it, I guess.
We celebrated back at the clubhouse with a buffet lunch, raffles and trophies for our winners. There were six winning teams out of two flights. Flight 1 with first place and earning $22.50 each of Pro Shop credit was the team of Maureen Varnes and Linda Zisman. Second place with winnings of $13.50 each was Pam Carson and Judy McDuffie. Third place was Teresa Blackburn Korn and Cel Muff each earning $9.30 each. Flight 2 winners consisted of Debra Allen and Mary Ornberg coming in first. Second went to Cathy Jenkins and Marsha Scholze. Coming in third was Gwen Heinen and Olive Morton.
