The Baby Boomers celebrated St. Patrick’s Day on March 21. A group of approximately 65 people donned their green attire and came out for bangers and mash, despite the stormy weather in North Texas.

Two “Welcome” tables were set up to help the newer members meet new people here at the Ranch. A trivia contest was used as an icebreaker. The winner of the contest won St. Patrick’s Day cookies.

Next month, the Boomers are taking the show on the road! Mark your calendars for Monday, April 18, from 5 to 8 p.m. as Boomers head to Big Shots at 114 and 35W (just past the outlet mall). Big Shots offers a variety of foods, drinks, miniature golf, cornhole, outdoor fire pit lounge areas, and, of course, a driving range with many private bays. Hope you will join in on the fun! There will be lots of things to do and opportunities to socialize with old and new Boomer friends!

If you are interested in joining the Boomers, contact Carol Jankowski at [email protected] or Susan Parker at susanp0[email protected]. We do not have dues, and we have a darn good time!
