The Big Swing’n Band Club presents the Texas Jazz Allstars. Saturday, June 27. Doors open at 6 p.m. Concert/Dance at 6:30 p.m. A partial dance floor, open table seating, and cash bar will be available.
The Texas Jazz All Stars (TeJAS) is a teenage all-star group of saxes, screaming brass, and a roaring rhythm section. Members are selected by audition, or based on instructor recommendations and their All Region/All State standings. This process yields an elite lineup able to perform college-level and professional level repertoire. The band frequently entertains at local senior living communities and nursing homes, as well as at car shows, water parks, fitness expos, and Robson Ranch.
This is one of the two charity dances that the Big Swing’n Band Club sponsors thru the year. All tips and a major portion of ticket sales go towards the support of TeJAS, supporting their mission.
Tickets are $20 each. They can be purchased at the clubhouse foyer on Monday, June 15; Wednesday, June 17; Friday, June 19; Monday, June 22; and Wednesday, June 24 from 9 to11 a.m. Tickets can also be purchased in advance by Venmo and Zelle. Visit the club’s Facebook site and scan the appropriate QR code. Tickets will be held at the WILL CALL table the night of the dance. Tickets will be sold at the door on the night of the dance as well. Check, cash, Venmo, and Zelle will be accepted. No credit cards please.
