Robson Ranch Catholic Club met on February 10. The meeting was held at the charming home of Ernie and Marianne Delberto. The speakers for the meeting were Yvette Crumly from St. Mark and Callie Nowlin from Immaculate Conception. They are the Religious Education Directors for their parishes. They discussed their journey at each parish and the programs that are available for adults and youth at both parishes. Yvette has been involved in religious education for 25 years and has been involved in groups from preschool to high school including youth ministry. There are also many programs for adults of all ages. Yvette makes sure that everything runs smoothly and correctly.
Callie is a convert to the faith and was previously a Baptist. She has a master’s degree from Ave Maria University, a wonderful Catholic University. She is very articulate and basically supervises all the religious education at Immaculate Conception. The programs again include both youth and adult parishioners. Callie told the group that they have so many programs at Immaculate Conception they can’t even get them into the Sunday Bulletin.
It was a very informative evening. The rest of the evening the group enjoyed snacks and fellowship.
