The Catholic Club met on September 12 at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Alex Manning. The guest speaker was Mr. Bret Curran, the Grand Knight from the Knights of Columbus Council 12553. Mr. Curran explained the faith and community- based programs the Knights promote. The meeting was attended by about 30 members for a most informative and enjoyable evening. The next Catholic Club meeting will be October 14, so mark that on your calendar. Unfortunately Bishop Olson, the Bishop of the Diocese of Fort Worth, will not attend because of a change in his schedule. Hopefully we will be able to reschedule his visit at a later date.
