Fellowship At The Ranch Church is Celebrating its 20th Anniversary this month. The inaugural Church service was held in April of 2006 at 10:30 a.m., in the Robson Ranch recreation center as the Clubhouse was under construction. This Church service was the culmination of a year of prayer, planning and support from Denton Baptist Association and First Baptist Church of Ponder. During the planning, it was decided the Church would be non-denominational, a gathering or fellowship of believers in Jesus and who lived at Robson Ranch, which led to the name “Fellowship At The Ranch”. The vision came true; the first Worship service had three members and one visitor.
For the first several months, Church services were held at the gym while construction was completed on the Clubhouse. In October of 2006, Fellowship at the Ranch moved to the Clubhouse and began meeting in the ballroom. Fellowship At The Ranch continued to grow and thrive. The Church began supporting mission groups, developed home groups, and formed service committees such as the Women’s Ministry, a Mission Ministry, and a Fellowship committee. In addition, a music ministry has been added.
Fast forwarding to 2026, Fellowship At The Ranch has an average Sunday attendance of 110 to 120. In addition, there is an online Live Worship Service at 10:30a.m. for those who are unable to attend at the Clubhouse. The Church has also grown to include three weekly Bible Studies, and four Home Groups (small group Bible Studies). The Mission committee now supports 12 local and international missions giving a total of $816,236 (since January 2017). There is also a Care Team to assist members who have health needs. Our volunteer committees now include Welcome, Communion, Fellowship, Publicity and Audiovisual/Sound. Past Sermons and Bible Studies are available on our YouTube channel.
