The Robson Ranch Choir will perform “Christmas at the Ranch” on Dec. 16 at 7 p.m. and Dec. 17 at 4 p.m. Tickets for this festive concert will be for sale for $16 on PayPal from Nov. 13 through Dec. 13 via our website rrmusicclub.com, and in the clubhouse every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, Nov. 27 through Dec. 15, from 9 to 11 a.m., for $15. Tickets will be sold at the door at a cost of $17 for adults. Children’s tickets (16 and under) may be purchased at the door for $10.
The Choir invites you and yours to come and relish the joyful tunes of the season. The selections this year are poignant, glorious, and diverse, yet well known. Some pieces are certain to bring you to tears, while others prod you to laughter. One piece sure to be a crowd pleaser is “Carol of the Bells,” a staple of Mannheim Steamroller and in the movie Home Alone. “A Celtic Nowell,” a Celtic beauty, is just glorious, as its happy twists of melody just frolic along. One is sure to enjoy “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” with its lush, expansive jazz harmonies. Of course, nothing says Christmas more than the glorious “O Come All Ye Faithful.” Be agog as the Choir rocks out on the first rock and roll Christmas song written, the toe-tapping, finger-snapping “Jingle Bell Rock.” The Choir will also show off their musical abilities when in the song “A Holly Jolly Christmas” they all play an instrument! Woo Hoo, how about that?! The audience will have a chance to sing “Silent Night” in the warm, heartfelt melody “Peace, Peace, Peace.” These, plus many more, including the piece “Hallelujah Chorus,” written by Handel, as he has said he heard from the Angels. Do come and hear your friends and neighbors perform these delightful melodies in splendid fashion.
