Democratic candidates heat up midterm election campaigns

Vicki Baker

While 2018 is not a presidential election year, there are many races coming up that can impact your life at the local, state and federal level. The mid-term elections are set for November 6, 2018, and declared Democratic candidates are kicking off their campaigns. During its recent monthly meetings the Robson Ranch Democratic Club hosted guest speakers Andrew Morris and Linsey Fagan.

Andrew Morris is running against incumbent Lynn Stucky for the District 64 seat in the Texas House of Representatives. Linsey Fagan is a candidate for U.S. House of Representatives District 26 of Texas. Both candidates shared their agendas and visions and answered audience questions.

The RR Democratic Club presents a variety of speakers including community leaders and political candidates to better inform and educate us as voters on issues affecting our community, state and country. Come join us on the fourth Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Clubhouse.
