Continuing with Robson Ranch Democratic Club’s commitment to the Keep Denton Beautiful (KDB) initiative, thirteen volunteers braved the chilly weather Saturday morning, January 26, for the third quarterly clean-up along Robson Ranch Road. The effort proved to be very successful with 17 bags of trash and ten bags of recyclables collected in a 90-minute period. Starting at the I-35 Hunter Ranch entrance to the Main Gate entrance, debris was cleared on both sides of Robson Ranch Road.
Some of the more interesting items found were full bottles of Dos Equis beer, package of Twinkies, fitted twin bed sheet, iPad Mini hinge cover, Robson Ranch Guest magnetic car sticker and a two-page written statement of ministerial philosophy and beliefs. Many thanks to the volunteers who participated: Vicki Baker, Richard and Elaine Kushmaul, Jan Lands, Leonard Marusak, Robert Mitchell, Nancy Odom, Joy and Bob Pashby, Sondi and Keith Reynolds and Steve and Lucy Ventura.
The next cleanup day is scheduled for Saturday, March 23 between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. which will be in coordination with KDB’s 31st Great American Cleanup. The project will be organized by the Democratic Club and the Robson Ranch community is invited to participate. To sign up, email [email protected].
