With 30 million people, Texas is one of the most diverse states in the U.S. It remains the battleground of battlegrounds, and firmly holds a spotlight in the 2026 national political arena. And to kick off our path to Nov. 2026, the Denton County Democratic Party held its convention in March with Robson Ranch Democrats proudly representing our community.

Gathering from every corner of the county, our broad coalition from all walks of life shared a common purpose: to celebrate the principles of democracy, unity, and progress, to empower working families, and to secure a bright future for generations to come. The convention, where diverse voices converged to shape the future of our county, provided a platform for the exchange of ideas.

The convention served as a gathering for party members, delegates, elected officials, candidates, and activists from across the county to elect state delegates, discuss party platforms, and strategize for upcoming elections. We engaged in spirited debates; listened to passionate speakers; and participated in workshops.  Aside from party business, the convention was also a lively social event to meet and engage with Democratic activists and Democratic-aligned businesses and organizations.

The Denton County Democratic Convention was a critical forum for shaping the direction of the Texas Democratic Party and rallying support for Democratic candidates and causes. Get ready to be inspired by an incredible array of voices leading the charge for change in Texas. Stay engaged and involved by joining the Robson Ranch Democratic Club on the 1st Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. social time and 6 p.m. for general membership meetings and presentations.
