Denton Animal Shelter Needs Donations

The Denton Animal Shelter’s dog kennels are at full capacity. Large breed dogs are becoming harder to place. Moreover, kitten season is rapidly approaching. The shelter is in need of the following items:

Bleach

HE liquid laundry soap

Dawn dish soap

Towels and washcloths (if clean, used is fine)

Fleece blankets

Purina cat or kitten dry food

Friskies wet cat food

Pedigree adult or puppy dry food

Pedigree wet dog food

Dog treats

Kong brand dog toys

Tennis balls

Cat treats

Cat toys

White vinegar

Rubbing alcohol

Pump liquid hand soap

Ziplock bags (quart and gallon)

Donations can be dropped off between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday, at the shelter’s location, 3717 North Elm Street, in Denton. The shelter’s phone number is 940-349-7594.
