Presentation—Randy’s experience of flying a Drone Over Robson and Denton Locations.
At the June monthly general meeting on June 22, at 7 p.m. in the CATC (Creative Arts Technology Center) Room 104 (Bluebonnet), Randy Hatcher, Commercial (Part 107a) Drone Pilot presented on his experience flying drones dating back to 2013, as well as the changes in drone technology over the past 13 years, the types of drones I have flown and/or owned, how my experience with photography helped me learn to take better drone images and why I decided to get my part 107 certification and what limited commercial work I have done.
He also spoke about his friend D. Simmonds along with Randy were to first to fly drones at the Ranch I will show some early photos and relate some experiences we had with the patrol and panicked homeowners.
Our next General Meeting will be Monday, July 27.
