Libraries play a vital role in communities by serving as a hub for learning, sharing information, reading, and even providing a quiet space when needed for a few hours. Our Robson Library provides free access to a vast array of books, magazines, digital newspapers, puzzles, and computers for all residents to use.

Community members who love to read, work puzzles, and volunteer on weekly library shifts use the library on a regular basis and recognize its benefits and value. With the recent library survey, the Library Subcommittee would like to take the opportunity to dispel a few misconceptions about our very own Robson Library.

Here are some key facts about our Robson Ranch Library that may surprise you:

• The library is open 7 days and 60 hours a week.

• The number of active library patrons is nearly 1,100.

• Over 4,000 items are available to be checked out by residents.

• Robson residents access the library more often than any other room in the CATC building.

• Donated periodicals, magazines, and newspapers are available to be read in the library or taken home.

• Digital copies of newspapers, which cost significantly less than newsprint, can be accessed on computers in the library.

• Over 70 trained volunteers donate their time to keep the library running smoothly.

• The Friends of Library Club has provided tremendous financial support over the past several years for the purchase of digital newspapers, new books, and puzzles.

For all new residents of Robson Ranch, please take the time to come by and visit the library. And if it’s been a while since you visited, please stop in again, as the library has changed considerably over the past few years. It is a valuable resource here at the Ranch!
