Life can be unpredictable, and when it throws those curveballs your way, ducking just isn’t enough. At the September gathering of Women Sharing Hope, the women found solace, inspiration, and camaraderie, in facing life’s challenges with faith and friendship.

Over 60 women and men congregated at the Women Sharing Hope September meeting, eagerly anticipating the wisdom of Pastor Kim Broadstreet from the First Baptist Church of Ponder. He delved into the profound question of what trials in our lives are meant to teach us. Pastor Broadstreet shed light on how our struggles can be transformative, molding our character, and deepening our connection with God during times of suffering.

The meeting was enriched by the beautiful voice of Sharon Tedford who graced us with two of her own original songs. Additionally, attendees were updated on upcoming events and initiatives, including the eagerly awaited October Women’s retreat on Oct. 11 and 12, the Special Needs Meal Train, and the heartwarming Christmas caroling tradition, Widows Ministry, and many more updates for 2024.

If you’re looking for a supportive and compassionate community, our Women Sharing Hope Ministries is the answer. With new members joining every month, there’s a sense of belonging that’s truly heartwarming. As one member aptly put it, “Had I known about this group and how caring and wonderful the ladies are, I would have attended long ago.”
