All Friends of the Library (FOL) members are invited to attend our eighth Annual Meeting on Wednesday, July 15 at 2:30 p.m. in the library. If you have not renewed your membership you will have an opportunity to do so at the event. Door prizes will be awarded. We will also elect two new officers for the 2026-27 year.
Current Vice-Chair Megg Galloway will assume the position of Chair. Current Chair Dianna Lucas will move to Immediate Past Chair. Liz Handley will retain her position of secretary, which has a two year term. We will be electing new officers for the positions of Vice-Chair and Treasurer.
Chuck Tanner is our nominee for Vice-Chair. He has experience as an Engineering Manager in the oil business. This role took him around the world and back to managing Barnett Shale gas wells, some of which are in and around Robson Ranch.
Chuck and his wife, Susan, have been Robson residents since 2025, moving here from Edmund, Okla. to be closer to their nine grandchildren. Chuck joined Friends of the Library and became a library volunteer substitute within his first year at Robson.
Richard Kushmaul is our nominee for Treasurer. His professional experience is in product design and team management in product development.
Richard has volunteered in many varied roles throughout the Robson community. Although he has not served in the capacity of treasurer, he is proficient In many computer applications and looks forward to learning and providing this service to the Friends of the Library. We appreciate Richard’s support of FOL because he believes the organization plays an important role in our community by supporting the Robson Library and strengthening the contribution to the intellectual and literary quality of life at Robson.
