Generations of Food Giving by the After Schoolers

Lavelle Carlson

The Robson Ranch After Schoolers are blessed to have multi-generational volunteering to help others in need. The After Schoolers have been able to provide baskets of food, books, stockings, scarves, and stuffed toys to the low-income children and families of Borman Elementary. Last year, the After Schoolers donated and packed (with the help of the grandsons of Bob and Cheryl Cook) twenty-six baskets. This year, with unemployment at a high, the After Schoolers are shooting to fill more baskets.

After Schoolers will again set up tables in the Community Center in November to carry on the tradition of generous giving by their members as well as the generous giving by others within the Robson Ranch Community. Watch for the dates of donation set-up in the next newspaper as well as in the HOA announcement.

Thanks in advance for your donations. Please know that the families appreciate all you do for the children.

Also, we are inviting persons who are interested in supporting our hard-working teachers to join the After Schoolers for fun and services.
