After nine seasons of playing softball, the BLACK SHEEP softball team is retiring! No more will the Black Sheep fans’ familiar BAAAAAAAA resound from the bleachers at the Field of Dreams. The Black Sheep enjoyed playing together both on and off the field. The sheep could be seen having a post-game meeting at a favorite restaurant in Denton, Ponder, Argyle, Wildhorse Grill or at a team member’s back yard. Pre-season and post-season gatherings were always celebrated together.

Through the new draft process, the Sheep have leaped to other teams. A faint BAAAAA throughout this season might be heard from the Black Sheep fans as they cheer for their players who are now on the Yellow Jackets, Red Hots, White Sox and Thursday Fun Night teams.

In honor of the Black Sheep, the Hawks have been renamed the Black Hawks!

To all the Black Sheep: BAAAAAAAAAA!
