Happy Potters has grown to 57 members strong this year. There also is a myriad of talents within the group. Some of the potters are professionals, and there are those like myself who are novices. But don’t be intimidated to try pottery because those within the group are very willing to share their talents, skills and knowledge with all who have the desire to learn. Every month the Happy Potters feature a potter of the month. The month of September featured creations by Pat Sabo. Stop by and take a look.

A few dates for those who are interested in joining the Happy Potters:

The Happy Potters will be taking a trip to Gruene, Texas to attend the annual Texas Clay Festival. The Festival will feature the work of over 60 Texas potters and clay artists. Leaving on Thursday, October 23, and returning Sunday, October 26, this is a fun trip to take and a unique opportunity to watch and learn as demonstrations are held in four tents throughout both days. Contact Dawn Schiegg for more information at [email protected].

Our quarterly Happy Potters meeting has been moved to Thursday, October 2, at 10:00 a.m.

If you are a potter or thinking about learning pottery, call Pat Sabo at 262-0991 or email her at: [email protected]. Dues are $20 for the year.

Come on up to the CATC and get dirty.
