The Golf n Greens Committee and the Robson Ranch Homeowners Association sponsored the inaugural Holiday Night Lights Golf Course Tour of all three golf courses on Dec. 10 and 14. The party began on the patio where free hot chocolate and cookies were available to all residents, with Mr. and Mrs. Claus entertaining the children while they sat on Santa’s lap.
A big thank you to the RR homeowners on the golf courses who decorated their backyards. The true holiday spirit is alive and well at Robson Ranch.
The festive atmosphere was reflected by the decorated carts and the many smiles on all those who were in attendance. Thank you, all, for your attendance and patience during our inaugural nights. The tour was approximately 90 minutes from start to finish.
Not to be forgotten in making the two nights a success are the many crossing guard volunteers. To get us started each night was our very own Grinch who had as many photo requests as the Clauses. Thank you, volunteers. You braved the dark, cool nights, ensuring a safe trip for all RR residents.
The RR residents were asked and responded graciously to the request to donate new, unwrapped toys for the Texas Guard to distribute. The donation barrel was overflowing early in the night. They graciously donated gifts both nights, with over 1,200 toys collected. Thank you, RR residents, for your response for toys. You made a difference to a small child this year.
Overall, both nights of the tour were a success and will be a high focus of the Golf n Greens agenda for a second-year consideration. We learned a lot this first year about where improvements can be made to make this event even better next year.
Once again, thank you, RR residents. You are the best.
