Per their website, “For over 30 years, Woman to Woman Pregnancy Resource Center has been impacting North Texas by providing resources, education, and unconditional love to one person or family at a time, because empowering individuals to make wise life choices can impact the world.” One of the ways they accomplish this is by offering free education classes for expectant parents and the community on Tuesdays from 1 to 3 p.m. Besides honing their parenting skills, participating clients earn vouchers that can be redeemed for items they will need when their baby arrives, such as diapers, wipes, formula, and more.
The Liberty Belles of the Robson Ranch Republican Club partnered with the Woman to Woman Pregnancy Resource Center in Denton recently to make a special couples night for the clients in their education classes in honor of Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. The Belles provided an Italian dinner of lasagna, tossed salad, and bread, with cheesecake and assorted cookies for dessert. Food was plated and served to the couples by Liberty Belles members and their spouses in a room decorated with fresh spring flowers and fairy lights. The food was delizioso, and everyone had a buono time!
