On May 9 over 50 members of the Robson Ranch Catholic Community met at the home of Mary and John Goodpaster for the RR Catholic Community Spring Social. There was a drink station, an appetizer station, main course table, and, of course, a dessert station. Many thanks to Mary and John for opening their home to all our members for this wonderful celebration.
Prior to everyone digging into all the delicious selections, Joan Bridges made a few announcements, and then Deacon Jim offered a blessing. This gathering was also a time of giving, and our members generously filled the back of the Napuranos’ car with over 271 pounds of bottled water to be delivered to Our Daily Bread. As always, everyone had a wonderful time catching up with old friends and meeting new friends, and, again, many thanks to the Goodpasters for opening their home to our RR Catholic Community.
We will not be meeting during the months of June, July, and August, but we do have a very exciting agenda for the 2023-24 year. In September our speaker will be Fr. Vo, in October our speaker will be Fr. McDaniel, and in November we will once again be treated to an amazing presentation by Dennis Pettit. Then, of course, in December we will have our annual Christmas Celebration. In January our speaker will be Dr. Surprise, and February’s speaker will be Deacon Mike Mocek. We currently have an opening for March, so if anyone has a suggestion for a speaker, please respond to Joan Bridges. Matt Gill will once again be presenting in April, and we’ll end the year in May with another social.
