Jewish Friendship group recently celebrated the spring holiday of Passover with a Seder at the home of B and Norm Bender. Our group was so large, the Benders got very creative and cleared out their garage to have enough room for all the folks that attended. It was a wonderful Seder, which included the retelling of the Passover story involving Moses leading the Jewish people out of Egypt and slavery to freedom in a new land. Traditional foods such as matzo ball soup, fish, brisket and many other delights including wine made for a wonderful meal and sharing of friendship. The JFG meets the second Sunday of the month at 11:00 in the Clubhouse. There we share wonderful food and exchange news and experiences. Only one member of a family has to be Jewish to attend.
