The British Invasion at the Music Club Karaoke and Dance Party on June 8 in the clubhouse was a great success. Line Dancing, two stepping, twisting, the Mashed Potato and Rock and Roll kept the dance floor full. Great songs from British and American Pop artists of the ’50s and ’60s were joyously sung by many of our intrepid friends and neighbors. A great time was had by everyone.
Big thank you to Special Event Chairperson, Carol Copeland, and her committee for super planning and great decorations. The next karaoke is August 24 at 7:00 p.m. in the clubhouse. Tickets will go on sale August 6 in the clubhouse from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Tickets are just $10 per person and you can choose your table location. Tickets will be on sale every Monday, Wednesday and Friday through August 24. This is a great way to spend an evening, so plan to be there!
