The Kiwanis Club of Robson Ranch hosted its seventh annual Grandparent/Grandchild Golf Event on Saturday, June 27. Thirty-two players teed off, and all had a good time. Following golf, the players were treated to a hot dog lunch served picnic style in front of the sales center. The event is a fundraiser for the many projects of the Kiwanis Club that focus on children’s needs in the greater Denton area.

Kiwanians Bill and Alice Wright coordinated the event. As evidenced by the smile on the faces in the picture, the Wright’s efforts were truly appreciated. Perhaps another Jordan Spieth or Michelle Wie in the group? Who knows?

Save the Date:

More fun for adults of all ages is coming to Robson Ranch from Kiwanis. Bingo will be back on September 20. What a great way to spend an afternoon. And proceeds will again go to furthering the ideals of Kiwanis helping people.

Kiwanis at Robson Ranch is involved in multiple events throughout the year to provide funding for community outreach, especially for kids. It is our mission. It is our passion. The support of the community for all of our events is deeply appreciated.

If you are a like-minded individual who enjoys service, please come by one of our meetings. We meet on the first and third Friday of the month in the Bandera Room of the clubhouse. Socializing begins at 8:30 a.m. with the program starting at 9:00 a.m.
