Mala Bowdouris
The La Dolce Vino Wine Club is one of the most senior clubs, having its inception around 2005. Although the membership has changed slightly from year to year, it basically has remained the same. Its goal is to experience the world of wine while having fun with friends.
This month’s favorite beers were the designated drink for the La Dolce Vino Wine Club meeting. This was a break from our normal wine study since we were combining this meeting with a cookout. The meeting was at the home of Sallye and Gil Ortiz. Members brought their favorite brew or side dishes, and hamburgers, cheeseburgers and dessert were provided by the host. It was a delightful way to spend an evening with friends on the patio.
