Linda Watrak and Monica Bishop both scored a hole-in-one in September. Linda has been playing golf for six years and Monica for less than two years. Both ladies made their shots on Wildhorse No. 4 hole; Linda on September 5, a play day for the Women’s Golf Association (WGA). Monica made her shot on September 17 golfing with her husband, Allen Bishop. Linda is a member of the WGA and serves as its treasurer. Monica is a dual member of the Wildhorse Lady Niners and the WGA. According to Dr. Francis Scheid, mathematician at Boston University, the odds are 12,500 to 1 for an amateur golfer to make a hole-in-one. Congratulations to Linda and Monica!
