Nature’s Spring Palette Is Sure to Inspire

Memories of Grandma’s enchanting flower garden provided inspiration for my recent children’s book “The Angels’ Gift” available on Amazon. www.RosemaryKuhnBouseAuthor.bravesites.com. (Photo by Steve Bouse)

As the earth enters a new stage of rebirth each spring, nature’s glorious hues are sure to inspire. An artist’s heart can be set afire drinking in the vibrant colorful surroundings here at Robson Ranch. As the eyes feast on the springtime palette, inspiration must surely follow. How might one capture the lovely hues to evoke emotion? Mother Nature provides the best of all subjects, but the artist adds a personal feeling as though the encounter with nature’s glory has left its mark on one’s very soul.

Surrounded by springtime delights, one may call to mind a stroll in a garden while holding hands with a lover. Recall the feelings felt in the springtime of your youth and allow them to brew as your imagination treats you to revisit a memorable event in your past. Take note of the colors in your daydream. Do these sentiments inspire a romantic portrayal on canvas? Flowering bushes, budding trees, blossoms of luscious hues, shades of springtime green all may provide inspiration to prepare your ‘paint and palette’ for yet another outstanding creation.

While working on your next artistic creation, be sure to visit the Paint and Palette Club, a place to share ideas and inspiration. Members are usually up for a good chat about their projects. Many club members may be currently working on new creations for our upcoming Spring Exhibition “Symphony of Color.” The exhibition will take place in Robson Ranch’s Clubhouse Lobby from Sunday, May 17 to Sunday, May 24.

Meet the artist reception is Sunday, May 24 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Yearly membership for the Paint and Palette Club is $10. Third Monday experiences are a class or workshop. Flash Fridays are often spontaneous and announced previous to the date. Room 103 in the CATC is open for members to work on personal projects on Mondays 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Fridays 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
