After weeks of preparation, this year’s 4th of July parade was as big a hit for the participants as it was for those along the route. The Wildhorse Lady Niners, always ready for a great time, turned out in numbers for a celebration. Our portion of the parade was organized by Lisa Bradburn and Kathy Cooper. The Niners had 50 participants plus dogs and family members riding in 18 carts. Additional walkers handed out candy and ping pong balls to visiting children. Some of the crowd was fortunate enough to catch the Hole-in-One Dancers perform a flag routine. Word is, the “dancers” will practice up for next year to present an even more spectacular show.
Our thanks to the following sponsors who helped create excitement about the parade by providing weekly door prizes: Mulligan Carts, It’s a Paw Thing, Giovanni’s Pizza, Paradise Donuts Argyle, Northlake Café, Debbie Dodge-Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, LaVie Nails, SAS Boutique, Tea Xetera, Argyle Med Spa & Wellness Center, Tyler Clark-Lone Star, H.D.O. Landscaping & Yard Maintenance, and American Solar Screens.
