Our very own President of Robson Ranch Paint & Palette Club, Francesca Romano, has the great honor from the City of Denton to present her large paintings at Greater Denton Arts Council’s Festival Hall.
The exhibition began on April 5 and will run through July 23 (nearly four months on view). The Gala Reception is on May 27 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Francesca’s artwork has been collected over the years, both nationally and abroad, by patrons and museums, including the National Library of Congress and the Staten Island Museum. Her art has garnered over 160 awards, including New York City’s “Woman in History” and “Women of Achievement” by the National Organization of Italian American Women.
Francesca continues to have permanent membership to New York City’s prestigious Salmagundi Art Club, the Society of American Graphic Artists, the Pen & Brush Society, the Staten Island Museum, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art as a former docent.
She is a retired New York City high school educator and adjunct professor at St. John’s University. Francesca now lives here with her elderly mother and devotes her time to teach here at the ranch through the UNT/OLLI program. She also arranges many artistic, fun exhibitions and trips for the Paint & Palette Club that she loves so much.
Francesca would like to invite all the residents here at the Ranch to visit this exhibition or, better still, to attend the Gala Reception.
