Pinewood Drive is one of the more “mature” streets at Robson Ranch. Some residents have lived on the street since 2004. We couldn’t remember when, or even if, we ever had a block party. Then COVID-19 happened, and our party plans were put on hold.
On Saturday, Nov. 6, residents came together for the long-awaited Pinewood block party and concert by the Robson Ranch Rhythm and Roots Ramblers. The weather was perfect. Residents danced and sang along with the music. Everyone brought their own chairs and drinks. Bags of popcorn and other snacks were passed around.
Recently, neighbors had been talking about decorating our street during the holidays. We decided on a snowflake theme, and people signed up during the block party to attend a workshop, hosted by neighbors Robin Hanna and Leslie Mosteller, to teach us how to make our own lighted snowflakes to decorate our yards. This will be the first year Pinewood has adopted a common holiday theme. Decorating started right after Thanksgiving. So, if you’re driving around Robson looking at holiday decorations, don’t forget to check out Pinewood Drive!
