Recipe for success

What makes a successful Craft Bazaar? What makes a dynamic club?

Pat Bender didn’t attend the Craft Bazaar last year, but this year she had a vision for success. Working with members of Happy Potters, including Marilyn Zastrow who consulted on glazes, Pat developed a plan. Potters took on the project for at least six months and created an inventory for the sale. It was our most positive outcome of all the bazaars we participated in. All proceeds go to the club for supplies and education. Kudos to all and many thanks to Pat!

Check out the Happy Potters display window through December. There are still plenty of pottery pieces to purchase as gifts or for yourself.

Welcome new members who attended October’s training classes. They are: Lori Humphries, Cynthia Lempke, Gloria McKinney, Sondie Reynolds, Keith Reynolds and Barbara Shippy. We look forward to seeing what they produce. In the past few years a strong membership has raised the artistic and creative level of our “work,” making the pottery room an exciting place to be.
