RPT Chairman James Dickey
One of the annual events the Robson Ranch Republican Club enjoys is the spring banquet held each May in the clubhouse. This year we are fortunate to have the Chairman of the Republican Party of Texas (RPT), James Dickey, featured as the main speaker for this event. With 254 counties in Texas, there are a lot of other places Chairman Dickey could be other than Robson Ranch, but it says something about the importance of our club to have him with us for this banquet on May 1, 2019. In case you didn’t know, there will be another presidential election in 2020. Texas will also elect a U.S. senator. In the 2018 elections Texas was the focus of a multi-million-dollar nation-wide effort by the other party to loosen the firm grasp Republicans have had on statewide offices since the 1990s. The Republican party lost some seats in the 2018 election but retained overall control of the state government. Chairman Dickey will fill us in on the plans the RPT has to improve the showing for Republicans in 2020.
Please join us for this banquet at 6:30 p.m. on May 1, 2019. The buffet meal will include lasagna, Caesar salad, breadsticks, key lime pie, tea, coffee, water all for $30 per person.
