Road Runners is off to Canada in July of 2023 to the Canadian Rockies and the Glacier National Park. Special prices are available now through Jan. 22, 2023, which includes round trip air. Double occupancy per person is $3,599 and single travelers at $4,499.

July 22: Arrive in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Get ready for an adventure that brings together the beautiful expanse of the prairies, the soaring majesty of the Canadian Rockies, and the brilliance of Montana’s Glacier National Park. The first night you will enjoy a cocktail reception to meet fellow travelers.

July 23-24: For two days you will be staying at the Bayshore Inn, Waterton National Park in Alberta. Here you will enjoy seeing the distant views of the spectacular Rockies. A point of interest is Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump, used by Aboriginal people for over 5,500 years. In route to Waterton National Park, you will pass through quaint villages and travel along roads used by grizzly bears, black bears, mountain goats, cougars, wolves, moose, and elk. In the park, Glacier preserves over one million acres of forest, alpine meadows, and lakes and is home to over 70 species of mammals and 270 species of birds. Enjoy a ride aboard one of its famous Jammer cars along one of the most breathtaking roads in North America.

July 25-26: From Waterton National Park you will travel to the Banff Inn in Banff, Alberta. On the way you will take in more of the majestic Canadian Rockies with a stop at Bow Falls. The next morning you will behold lofty waterfalls, rushing rivers, glacial peaks, imposing cliffs, and snow capped mountain ranges. You then get a choice of taking a fun ride across the mass of glacial ice or take a walk onto a glass-bottom platform at Sunwapta Valley. Then on to Peyto Lake, a glacier-fed lake that evokes pure serenity.

July 27: The last hotel is the Calgary Marriott in Calgary. There you will see the famous glacier-fed turquoise waters of Lake Louise before choosing a hike along the lakeshore, or simply relax in the majesty of your surroundings. Lunch will be at the Ski Lake Louise Lodge before boarding the gondola, which ascends the mountain in 14 minutes to a height of 6,850 feet above sea level. That evening you will have a farewell dinner with your fellow travelers, celebrating the end of a memorial trip.

July 28: The trip ends with your returning flight to the Ranch.
