April was a busy month for the Road Runners.
On April 14, 55 Road Runners traveled with Premiere Transportation to Ennis and the Blue Bonnet Trail. The members were able to get out and walk through the fields of blue before enjoying a delicious lunch in downtown Waxahachie around the courthouse square. They were visited in the field by the Easter Bunny!
The Painted Churches near Brenham was the next trip with Premiere on April 27. They stopped at Messina Hof Winery and had a tour of Washington on the Brazos on the way to Brenham. The next day they toured the Painted Churches and had lunch at the Oakridge Smokehouse. On the way back to the Ranch, the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library was on the itinerary. The trip would not have been complete without a stop at the ever-popular Blue Bell Ice Cream shop!
The club switched gears on May 7 to enjoy an Eagles Tribute Concert in Grapevine at the Palace Theatre. Everyone enjoyed eating and shopping in downtown Grapevine before the show.
