Road Runners—Painted Churches

Karen Lyons

One of the most requested Road Runner trips is the trip known as the Painted Churches, but it is so much more!

The trip begins on April 1, leaving Robson on a Premier Drives Global Deluxe Motor Coach. Travel with us to the birthplace of Texas, see the artistry of 19th century German and Czech immigrants, and visit the library and museum of our nation’s 41st president, George H.W. Bush. Washington on the Brazos is the historic site where you will learn how “Texas Became Texas.” See the Painted Churches of Texas that capture the interest of designers, historians, and tourists. Learn the story of the thriving communities that prospered by working hard, helping one another, and praying together. A visit to Brenham is not complete without a stop at the Lone Star State’s favorite ice cream parlor, Blue Bell!
