Robson Ranch Music Club Falls Back into the Season of Song

Frances Hackley, Publicity

The Robson Ranch Music Club is extremely excited to fall right back into the commonplace of rehearsals, event planning, and concerts. In fact, some are just plain giddy to get going! Music for our Veterans Day and Christmas Concerts was handed out at the end of August, with rehearsals beginning Sept. 12. Some members of the Robson Choir, joining with some members of The Voices of Flower Mound, headed to Europe on Sept. 1 and sang in a couple of churches there. The group has been waiting two and a half years to get this show on the road, of course, because of COVID-19. They returned just in time for the choir’s first rehearsal. Also happening in September is North Texas Giving Day. This year, North Texas’ largest nonprofit donation day of the year is on Sept. 22. The Music Club is a nonprofit and has participated in this day of giving for several years. The Music Club’s only means of support is through donations, dues, and ticket sales. North Texas Giving Day is extremely important to the club. Donations opened on Sept. 1, and will continue through Sept. 22. If you are so inclined, go to and in the search, type “Robson Ranch Music Club.”

The Robson Ranch Music Club will sponsor our first event of the fall on Friday, Oct. 28. This, of course, is Scaryoke. Start getting your costumes together, folks. This is always one uncanny night of chillarious fun! Then on Nov. 11, with two performances (11 a.m. and 7 p.m.), the Robson Ranch Community Choir will present the Veterans Day Concert. I dare say, nobody does a better tribute to our veterans than this choir. In December, the choir will perform two Christmas Concerts on the 17th at 7 p.m. and on the 18th at 4 p.m. Don’t miss out on these heartwarming, nostalgic songs of the season. Then you will want to assuredly join us to welcome in the new year at the New Year’s Eve Dinner/Dance on the 31st.

The Music Club has planned a very busy last few months of the year. We hope to see all at our events and concerts. Your support is very much appreciated. For all information about the club and its events, go to
