Robson Ranch Women’s Club luncheon will be on Monday, Jan. 6, 2020 under the leadership of our new president, Gayle Coe. And we will have as our speaker our city councilman who represents Robson Ranch on the Denton City Council, Jesse Davis, a lifelong resident of Denton. Jesse will share with the group some of the new and exciting things planned for our area, especially pertaining to the immediate locale around Robson Ranch. He will present interesting facts concerning the growth of our area and new ideas for the future, particularly as they pertain to women and residents of Robson Ranch!

Jesse Davis graduated from Denton High School, received his BA in History and Political Science from UNT (where he served as president of the Student Government Association) and his law degree from Baylor University. He worked for three years in Washington, DC as a senior staff assistant and assistant press secretary to Senator Kay Bailey Hutchinson before returning to Texas.

Since 2011 Jesse has served as an Assistant DA for Denton County, advocating for crime victims and prosecuting felon cases at every level. He has served on the Denton City Council since May 2019, and also works with the Boy Scouts of America, serves as president of the Denton Evening Rotary Club, and is a board chair of the North Texas Metroplex Children’s Choir. He and his wife, Diana, are parents to three children, ages 4, 6, and 8. Be sure to mark your calendars to be sure to hear this presentation.

As usual the doors will open at 11 a.m. There will be time to visit with friends, welcome new visitors, stop by the membership table to register if not a member, and visit the Charity of the Month to make your donations to the Denton Community Food Bank. Please read the HOA announcements or go online to rrwomensclub.org to see other ways you can help the hungry in our community.

If you are interested in becoming a new member, there will be a table with applications available before the meeting and the dues are $15.
